  • With an annual average of 15 metres, Niseko is considered one of the snowiest international ski resorts in the world. Snow generally starts falling in Hokkaido in early December and can go right through until April.

However, if it’s the famous Niseko powder you’re chasing, January and February are the months that historically experience the most snowfall. That said, we’ve seen epic dumps in March over the years. And with the start of spring often comes clearer skies and warmer days - meaning you get some epic views.

  • Each accommodation has a different check in policy. You will be emailed this information closer to the day of arrival.

  • Besides Midori lodge, all our accommodations are situated in tranquil locations off the beaten track. This means that guests will need access to a car for the duration of their stay. These are easy to hire from Sapporo airport or Kutchan. If you need help with organising a car, please email us. Please note you will need either a Japanese or International Driver’s License to hire a car.
