  • Hokkaido is famous for its huge quantities of snowfall each year - it’s why we love it here! However, with this often comes snowy, cloudy, sometimes windy and low visibility conditions. Luckily, this does not mean your tour needs to be cancelled. Our experienced photographers keep a close eye on the weather and know the best spots to go to get the best photos, no matter the weather. While we all want that ‘Yotei’ photo, sometimes the most beautiful moments occur when the snow is falling and you’re among the trees. Basically, we are confident we’ll be able to capture your special moments no matter the weather!

  • Make sure you wear something that you’re comfortable in and that will keep you warm! Also, there is likely to be some walking through snow, so appropriate footwear is essential. Our guests having a pre-wedding photoshoot often bring warm jackets to wear over their formal clothes, which they take off when the photographer is working their magic.

  • Our guides will generally collect you right from your accommodation, unless other plans have been made (eg. meeting at a specific lift).

  • Similarly to the weather, our photographers are talented at taking exceptional photos at any time of the day. That said, during the middle of winter we advise that photoshoots finish no later than 4pm(ish), as this is when the sun begins to set and with the likelihood of clouds it becomes more challenging to capture those special moments.

  • We make every effort we can to deliver your professionally taken and retouched photographs within 7 days of your tour. A link and password will be sent to your booking email, including instructions for how to access the photos.
