This is a 2 or 3 day backcountry flyfishing trip where you will sleep in a tent and fish from dawn until dusk.
There are an abundance of rivers and streams around the Niseko area, and this trips provides you with the opportunity to explore some of our favourite, and secret, spots. Even one trout filled river that is cloer to bears than humans!
By far the best way to enjoy the Hokkaido fishing if you have time.

This is the perfect way to discover the joys of Flyfishing. Your experienced fishing guide will take you to seleced fishing spots and teach you all the tips and tricks for a successful day.

Similarly to the half day tour, you will join an experienced local fishing guide who will take you to the best spots and give you insider tips and tricks. On a full day fishing, we will be able to visit more remote locations, offering a better fishing experience.
Recommended for advanced fisherman.

Winter Fishing
Tenkara and Leurre fishing are the techniques used for our winter experiences. As much as we love the traditional fly fishing, the line manipulation and placement on the river makes it too difficult in the extreme winter conditions we experience in Hokkaido.
Tenkara is much more simple and once set up correctly allows us to fish from the riverside rather than the middle of the river. Leurre fishing is another option for those unfamiliar with nymph fishing that do not want to learn it in -10 degree celsius!
This tour will include snowshoeing to selected mountain streams to maximize the chances of catching a fish.
While the river is beautiful, the fish a bit slow, so you’ll need to be patient.
